Strange Little Creatures At The Strange Beast Show

We got to see all the strange and wonderful creatures that came to life in the form of small toys last Saturday at The Chillage. There were a total of around 10 artists that join The Strange Beast Art Toy Show, this included Peter Corazo, Monica Alcudia, Jethro Estimo, Stephanie Tudtud, Worker & Artisans, Carlo Rodriguez, Happy Garaje, Bartbombs, Mano of TWSC, Uzi Emperado, and Leandro Almendras. The exhibit was organized and curated by Peter Corazo and Monica Alcudia. Strange Beasts

As children, we all love robots defeating kaijus, and feared uncanny creatures told to us by our mothers to keep us in the house at night. We all had these creatures with us as children, we either loved them or feared them but nevertheless helped our young imaginations run wild.  And for The Strange Beast Show, ten Cebuano artists will be bringing to life their own versions of Kaijus, and uncanny monsters this Saturday at The Chillage. After looking at some toys, and maybe even purchasing some, you can get a bit crafty and join the Paper Toy Playshop by Stephanie Tudtud. But if you really want to release your inner beasts take a go at the some monster themed borad games courtesy of Folk Fiction. It's going to be a fun night so come on down and bring your inner beast for a  stroll.  Here's a preview of some of the toys:
