Thrashers Trashed in BGC
Kevin Ducusin reported in his Facebook page a recent harassment incident in Bonifacio Global Fort by Aglipay Marshalls against frequent skateboarders in the area (see photo above). He posted:
"the upgraded "security guards" riding their motorcycles, two way radio and the attitude of " WE'RE THE REAL SHIT, WE'RE THE AUTHORITY ! "which is actually not, their only obligation to promote peace and order(bakit nangugulo ba kami??). Our local skateboarders here in BGC had experience harassment and detained forcibly yesterday because of skateboarding. AGLIPAY MARSHALLS took forcibly their boards and detain them for about 30-40 mins in their headquarters which is also located in BGC. It is such a shame and complete dismay of the fact that they take advantage of the situation. the situation of knowing our young skateboarders here in BGC don't know their rights about what to do in this kind of situations. We've experience these harassment last month, and this shit is kinda old because, every time they implement " NO SKATEBOARDING " in BGC is, just they feel to implement it which is not all the time. skateboarding scene is seen in THE FORT first before they renamed to BGC(Bonifacio Global City). These moffos think that we're illiterate and dont know our rights. They ALWAYS say that we need to have a permit to skate around BGC, they're just bunch of kids who just want to skate. Give them some slack, would you?? and please if you want to ask something or to tell them something, ask politely. HINDI YUNG HOY! TUMIGIL KA BAWAL MAG SKETCHBOARD DITO. which is actually wrong. if you show'em rudeness, don't expect politeness. and i just want to end this shit. WUSSUP BGC. and if i could be the developer who worked in BGC. i would actually take advantage of the skateboarding scene in BGC and support it in a way that i would build a local skatepark. 30-40 pesos entrance fee will be reasonable price if the park was tight. and it would also attract tourist. like we skateboarders always says " SKATEBOARDING IS NOT CRIME " nag pa parade pa kayo na kasama sa makikita sa high street ang skateboarding kung ipagbabawal ninyo lang rin! at lalo na yung mga establishment na nag bebenta ng skateboarding goods. HELLO WORLD??! isa lang ako sa mga boses na mga taong naagrabyado ng mga taong ito. sa tuwing sisilipin at titignan ko yung mga name plate nila pinipilit nilang takpan. automatic alibis nila malamang na hindi nila ginagawa yun..and just to add PRIVATE po ang BGC pero hindi ibigsabihn na yung mga ginawa nilang pang haharass ay tama. pag foreigner at marunong kang mag english pababayaan ka nila, kakausapin ka ng maayos at pakikitunguan ng maayos. sakin lamang ay may racism din pala sa pilipinas at kapwa ko pa pilipino ha.maraming salamat sa mga nagbasa at nagshare."
