Palot is a senior illustrator and designer for an award-winning
newspaper in Oman, where she is currently based since 2010. She grew up in
Dumaguete City and graduated cum laude in Fine Arts, majoring Advertising Arts
at the University of San Carlos in Cebu City last 2002. Before leaving the
country she has worked as a graphic designer for various companies and fully
established her name in the field when she had her first solo exhibit entitled,
SORE. Palot garnered international
awards from Society for News and Design for her works in the newspaper both Times of Oman (English) and Al Shabiba (Arabic).
